Pink Week October 26-30, 2015

HOSA will sell Breast Cancer Awareness bracelets for $1.00 and balloons for .50 cents. Balloons are pink and students will write the name of someone they would like to remember or honor on the inflated balloon. Balloons will be released Friday during the Pink Out Ceremony in front of DCIT. Profits will be donated to Breast Cancer Research.
During each session, we will announce a trivia questions. Students will submit answers to their teachers--student name and answer must be on the sheet. All submissions will be collected at the end of each period. The correct answer will be announced the following day along with a new question. Names of students who submitted the correct answer to question will be entered into a drawing for a larger prize for that day.
Monday - Pink Pajama Pants Day
Tuesday - Pink Hair Bow and Pink Hat Day (hats can be worn inside and only while at DCIT)
Wednesday - Pink Nails Day (HOSA will paint students' nails pink)
Thursday - Pink Sock Day, Voting for best pumpkin, ribbon and bra decorating contest
Friday - Pink Out Day (Students wear pink clothes, Health Science students wear pink scrubs. Balloon release and Cancer memorials/honorariums ceremony outside in front of DCIT)
Pumpkins, ribbons and bras will be provided to each class Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Items need to be completed and ready to turn in by the end of the day Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Items will be displayed in the atrium on Thursday and all students will be able to vote for the pumpkin, ribbon and bra they think is best. The winner will be announced Friday at the ceremony. The winning class will receive a pizza party during their assigned class time the following week.
